Chamonix at Twilight

This marked the end to quite a special adventure for me. This was my first time visiting the Alps where we stayed in Chamonix for a long weekend with friends. One of my goals for the trip was to do a proper mountain hike. Boy did we get that. It was over 20 degrees and as we started to climb, things were very merry amongst us. Fast forward 2 hours and only half way up, we were all absolutely knackered and whilst the top was in sight, it was an almost vertical hike! We made it to the top. Enjoy our view, and made our way back. By the time we made it to the bottom, it was already twilight which is where I captured this image of the Mont Blanc range.
