William Tyndale's Monument Sunset
If you’ve ever wondered what that tower sticking above the Cotswolds was whilst going up the M5, this is that tower – The Tyndale Monument, built in honor for, funnily enough, William Tyndale, who was a translator of the New Testament (amongst many other things!). It’s located just outside of Wotton-under-Edge, a great place for stunning 360-degree views providing you’re willing to take the 100+ step climb to the top!
If you enjoy walking, then definitely check out Wotton Walking Festival, they host a fantastic walking event in the area that makes the most of the beautiful scenery that the Cotswolds has to offer. Make sure to check out their page to keep up to date!
