Rapeseed Field at The Foot of Sugarloaf

Photographed at sunrise during a hot weekend in May 2018. I found this composition at the end of April and I’ve been waiting for the right conditions to get the shot, thankfully I didn’t have to wait too long with the stunning weather we had at the weekend. A nice 4 am wakeup, I decided to take my motorbike instead and ride the Chepstow-Abergavenny via Usk route which is lovely on a busy day but with no one on the road apart from me both ways, it was absolutely epic!

For me, this composition was exactly what I was looking for with the perfect rapeseed field, a lovely leading tractor line and Sugarloaf in the distance.
